You can store these in a airtight container for upto a week. The best thing about them is that you don't need to do too much to them. And they don't take much time.
Let's look at the ingredients
INGREDIENTS
- 75g unsalted butter
- 200g all purpose flour
- Milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
METHOD
- Take a deep bowl and add butter and sugar. Mix it continuously until consistency becomes foamy.
- Add baking powder, salt and all purpose flour to the mix. Mix it gently so that flour is combined well with the butter and sugar.
- Now we are aiming for a dough consistency. To achieve that, add milk bit by bit until you get a smooth dough.
- Now put this in a fridge for 15 minutes and preheat your oven at 350 F.
- Take the dough out and start rolling it with the help of a rolling pin until it is 1/2 inches thick.
- Cut these with the help of a 3" cookie cutter. Place a parchment paper on a baking tray and assemble these. Now brush a layer of milk on top and sprinkle some cumin seed
- Bake these for 10 minutes until golden brown. Now patience! you may want to eat them right away but they need resting time. So leave them on the tray to cool down and then enjoy
