VANILLA BUTTERMILK COOKIES

So most of you must be thinking, why vanilla buttermilk cookies instead of chocolate chip cookies . But believe me, these are really good ones and they only take 30 minutes of your time. And you don't need to domuch. All these ingredients are already your pantry staples. So you also need not go shopping. They are really good especially for a lazy day when you just don't want to do too much. You know what I mean right. I mean I have many of those.

So let's get started:

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 spoon yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tbsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • vegetable oil
  • pinch of salt
METHOD
  • Take a bowl, mix in sugar and oil and beat it for 2 minutes.
  • Then sift your dry ingredients into it i.e. flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Baking soda will help in providing a rise in your cookies.
  • Then add your wet ingredients into the batter i.e. buttermilk, yogurt, vanilla extract and mix it continuously. You want to mix your batter well to avoid any lumps.
  • Now that our batch is prepared, leave it to rest in fridge for 10 minutes.
  • It's time to bake some cookies now. For clean and efficient working, put the batter in a round tip piping bag. This will help you handling the batter.
  • Now line your baking tray with parchment and pipe the batter onto it. You wanna leave little space between cookies.
  • Bake these at 400F for 12-15 minutes. And they are ready....

Told you! these won't take much of your time. You can store these in a airtight container for about a week. Oh before i forget, they are best when served hot with butter. So enjoy these on a lazy day....
